This Team GOOD.
I don't have much more to add than that. These boys don't slump. They don't scuffle. They don't get intimidated. They don't fold. And on the rare occasion when they have a hideous loss (see Wednesday), they follow it up with 2 straight steamroller wins (over good teams, no less). It's a thing a beauty, my boys, so enjoy it. Oh, and while you're enjoying it, pour some out on the lawn for Duaner. My fingers, toes, and various other bodily parts are duly crossed. But here's the thing: bullpen depth is a beautiful thing to have. So even if - God forbid, knock on wood, kinehora - Duaner is out for any extended period of time, we've got Heilman and Bradford waiting in the wings as possible set-up successors. With Oliver and Feliciano also pitching lights-out middle relief, I don't think we'd be in too much trouble.
And Sugar Pants has officially crossed over into the realm of "ridiculous."
God speed, Dirty Sanchez.

I can guess Duaner won't be out for a long time. He might've just pulled something. I didn't see it because I was too distracted IMing people..

At first it looked like an elbow, but Sanchez is having an MRI done in NY today. Said he felt a "shock" down his arm. Sounds like it maybe nothing to worry about. We'll see.

Hopefully it's nothing serious but, up 11 games, we can get this guy 2 weeks' rest in any event. Based on performance this year, I would slot Feliciano in Sanchez's slot, and Heath Bell in Felicano's spot. Bradford should remain in his role. And Willie had better not overuse Heilman. The Phils are not catching the Mets.
